Just passing this along.There is a guy in our local buy and sell with a few original mint 4's and 5's for sale two of the #4's have the PH 5c aperature sight in new condition.I can pass his info along if anyone is interested
he has other stuff like mausers and grenade launchers ect, he is selling it all off.
 
His phone# is ### ### ###x,he is in Burnaby BC, I should say that he knows what he has and the values,dont phone him looking for a hot deal,just a chance to own something nice at market price...

Tell him to join the board and post his stuff for sale
 
I had mentioned that to him but he did'nt seem too interested.He also said he used to do the HACS shows but no longer did that either.He sounded a bit different.In the 3 minutes I spoke to him he dropped the f -bomb about 10 times talking about how you wont find rifles as nice as f88888ing shape as these.I dont know him at all,just passing the info along..
 
I must have a glitch in my computer as I see no phone number only a bunch of X's. If he was that prick...ly to talk to why did you bother? I have decided not to call. Let him eat them for his rediculous price!

I phoned the guy and he is a total dork.
 
Sorry guys,I dont know the guy personally,I was just passing his # along thinking someone might be interested in his stuff.I did not realize he was such a goof.I will do a little more research before I do something like that again.:(

Your attempt to help him was admirable. 99% of people are good it's the 1% who cause all the problems. He got identified pretty quick. Don't beat yourself up over it. Gunnutz is a great place to get help. You tried.

Hey, you were just trying to help...not an issue at all. His guns actually sound pretty good.

Swearing, cursing, accusing me of wanting his guns cheap when all I asked about was the condition, etc etc. Not an enjoyable conversation shall we say. Even if his guns are good I'm not sure I'd trust him.
