I noticed that the earliest Join Date for any member or administrator is in 2004. Was there really no Canadian Gun forum prior to 2004? :confused:

It just doesn't make sense, why Canadian gun owners wouldn't organize and socialize prior.

I suppose many members continued to use the telegraph up until 2004. :p

Legend has it they were on a different forum, US I think, until they were kicked off and CGN was created as a result.

It was before my time, so I dont have all the details, but IIRC, Stormbringer had a bit of a run-in with the dude from AssaultWeb (aka assweb ).
Soon afterwards, CGN was formed, and whenever a new canuck would sign onto assweb, others would PM the new guy to sign on here instead.
