thanks for a very interesting post.I overheard my father talking to his good friend who had fought there . the discussion was about some locals who were killed on the way there.they walked into an ambush at night. he survived that and lived to be a very old man.total respect for their sacrifices.

Great story, thanks for the post. Amazing they even got the short break for a good dinner. They were up against incredibly tough and experienced troops.
