It's finally happened! We are proud to launch our brand new 10/22 chassis under the Oryx brand. These are in stock and shipping now! The chassis is full 6061-T6 aluminum, Type III mil-spec hard coat anodizing, adjustable LOP with spacers, adjustable cheek riser with tools, polymer side panels and M-Lok integration on the bottom side of the forend. Check it out!

Yes, the rear part of the action is clamped via a side bolt, so there is support at the takedown block and the rear as well.

Do you know if a volquartsen summit action will fit and function properly?

No, however, it should work ok. May have some issues with the bolt handle. We do have a 30-day customer satisfaction guarantee through Oryx as well so you can buy and try it without any issue!

Any reason it’s only available with ODG side panels? I know other colours are available but I don’t see why you can’t pick the colour you want without having to buy additional panels.

agreed :) i like the Rem SA but would prefer black or even FDE
Just a question though, how do these compare to the MDT LSS-XL?

We do this to only have one part number to stock for each chassis; if we had color options, our price wouldn't be feasible. It is very easy to paint the panels as well.

Additional side panels are available for purchase on the website. Two different chassis systems, the Oryx has polymer panels, a buttstock that integral to the chassis, and less M-Lok integration. The LSS-XL is more modular and has options such as folding, much more M-Lok integration, and night vision capabilities.

Any chance it’s designed to accept a magazine adapter that accepts Rem 597 magazines. I know some other chassis’s won’t accept them. Thanks in advance.

There are no plans at this time as you would likely need an adapter still since the magazine is held within parts of the action.
