I'm looking at an Oryx chassis. Anyone have any experience with them? The website is giving me fits, I'd have had one on order by now but it won't take my address. I see they have something to do with MDT, which seems to be a decent company to deal with. Do I need to buy this from a distributer or can I get one directly? Thanks!

I have one for my savage 308. I like it for the money. My chassis experience is limited but it’s comfortable and the action dropped in no problem. I replaced the grip with the mdt vertical grip. I ordered direct from their site without issue

I have two and they are mainly my rimfire competition stuff and I love them! I'm also super biased since I work for both brands. You can order off the website, it shouldn't be giving you any issues. Try clearing your cache/cookies or another browser. If you continue to have an issue click the support icon on the bottom right-hand side of the screen!

Not to derail the thread, but are you guys still on schedule to release the xrs for the savage short action this month?

I'm among the first that had it since release. My rem700 5r in it. I'm torn between liking it and not. I don't like it's hergonomy. The metal is cold for the fingers in winter. The black metal finish mark with your fingers. The stock lenght of pull is not ajustable except for adding spacers. It lack sling attachement points. You can add MLock points but not on the side of the front end.

I will probably sell mine and buy a more traditionnal precision rifle stock by MacMillan...
