Oryx vs krg bravo

Wondering if a 16'' barrel (tikka t1x) would fit in either of these chassis.
Pics, feedback would be much appreciated!

i have the krg bravo on my 20" youll want a thicker barrel as the space for the barrel is quite large.

EDIT: if you care about how it looks anyway. but the krg does make the barrel look puny

The feel of these two chassis are very different. I have a KRG Bravo on a Rem 223 and tried the Oryx out for my Wheatherby. the Oryx is a great looking chassis but the ergonomics for me, did not compare to the KRG. (hand hold and trigger finger placement) so the Oryx went back and I bought another KRG

The Oryx can be returned in 30 days so it would cost you the shipping to see if it is for you. ( tried asking if anyone local has one for you to hold?)

I’ve got the oryx on my 16” tikka T1x, and it’s awesome. It would look better with a thicker barrel......maybe I’ll change that at some stage in the future. If I have anything negative to say about the oryx, it would be the type of finish....it scuffs up a bit, but it does wipe clean again.....not sure what that finish is.

Other than the chasis, what else do you need to buy to be able to move the T1x from the original stock to the new chasis?

Can’t speak to the Bravo, but I really like the Oryx I picked up a few months ago for my CTR. I don’t think you’re giving up much to more expensive chassis platforms.

You don’t need anything else, drop it in and you’re ready to go.

Definitely the factory 16” (and 20”) barrel looks ridiculous in the Bravo. Like a pencil. I fixed that in a hurry tho:

pazzo, what barrel is that? I'm in on the next production run of the Sterk Bolt Handle and Shroud

My 20" in the Bravo Chassis - the 16" will fit even with the spigot as you see here. It might look funny though

Barrel is an IBI.

Regardless of how they look, they still shoot well.
