Four of us will be making the trek from Ottawa to Oshawa on the 29th to shoot our first "real" sporting clays event. Having never been to such an event, does anyone have suggestions for first timers. We are well aware that we're going to participate, not compete but any helpful hints would be appreciated. I've heard nothing but good things about the Oshawa club so we're looking forward to it.
 
You should register on Winscore.com to make sure you have time slot reserved for your squad. Makes things easier and more efficient for the shoot organisers.

What a great course !!! Great club, friendly people, excellent/challenging targets, but whoever ordered the stifling heat for the afternoon squads should be keel hauled under an aircraft carrier !! I highly recommend attending, it's worth the drive (I even hit a few targets).

I'm pretty sure that I remember Joe Potosky of The Lost Target saying the club was the premier sporting clays venue in Eastern Canada, I now believe him.
