Hello GunNutz members,

I live in Whitby and I'm looking to join a gun club near by. I'm need a place that will allow shotgun & riffle, so with that in mind I found the Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club (outdoor club only). I couldn't find much info on this range.

Anyone try their range? Is it good? Fees?

I've been trying for over a year to get in. Answers "sorry, full" but I think you can join skeet only? Or at least I was offered that.

Nice 300yard range.

I'd love a membership.
 
Membership is available for shotgun sports only, due to the fact that the rifle/pistol range is overcrowded. Come up and shot some shotgun, it won't long before you can get on the rifle range.

Do you know the cost for the membership (shotgun)?

I bought a Shotgun and a ,22 riffle but I haven't try them yet. Can't wait any longer...
 
look at uxbridge skeet, go on a sunday at 10 am and shoot with me , and port perry for 100 yard rifle and pistol , pm for a range day with the .22 at port
 
Come up to the Club on Wed/Sat/Sun, and put in an application with Julie. Rifle/Handgun - waiting list only. Shotgun - no waiting list.

Hey Maverick and 375 Rum I know this is a old post but I'm new to shooting and I bought my SKS about two weeks ago and I haven't fired it yet I'm trying to find club to join that have riffle range I was wondering if either of you would be willing to mentor me as I am am a nice I read Alot about guns but lacjexperience. Thanks in advance
 
Just come up to the club and ask Julie to get a member to take you out. I'll be there on Saturday at 09:30 for skeet.

As far as shooting clays - you can shoot as a guest on the weekends - for rifle and pistol you have to be with a member. See website for details.

If you really are a newbie - Julie will set you up with a mentor (she's very good that way...)
