The upper and lower do not fit on AR10 or AR15. Dont know if you can get it to work with duct tape or not. :mad:

But it uses AR fire control group. Would that make this restricted?

Seeing as how it's not in production yet its hard to tell. It sounds like it just an mini 14 and ar15 hybrid that will probably cost more then both rifles and won't be much better. If we do get the it will probably take 3-4 years.
 
Humm, 3D printed metal upper. Sounds pricey. How durable is 3D Printed metal?

Depends what kind!

They can get SLS (Selective-Laser-Sintering) to print in Titanium and Inconel, which if designed right could be more than adequately strong and very quick to make batches of parts.

The printers themselves can be a cool half million dollars, but with the volume of material you can push out with them, it's worth every penny they cost!
