OSTS CUSTOM BUILD vs LMT CQB MRP

I really like my LMT. For the price Questar is selling them for now they are a great option.

I bought mine as a Compliant version from Questar and changed it up since. Now I think it's in the
configuration I like most. (Flashlight just for giggles.)

Hopefully I'll get a chance to see if the Aimpoint P.R.O. works well on it.

I've got over 4000 rds this year through my LMT upper. Box of parts? Franken gun? LMAO? Anyone who has had AR's for any amount of time has one or more "frankenguns". That's the greatest part about AR's. Parts used are Cadex lowers which I'll put up against any lower on the market. Daniel Defense internals in the upper and lower, again, the best on the market along with KAC. Upper, well we'll use yours, NEA's (which a few on this thread hold in high regard) or DD. Barrel, well, S&J Hardware can't be beat on barrels here in Canada. If you want a complete, one name, resale value gun go LMT. If you want it built the exact way you want it. Come see us.

Yes this is very true, and can save a lot in cost and time, I wish you guys were around and doing this 8 years ago.

Guys you've all been a wealth of information, hearing all of your input is awesome.

I actually do plan on using the quick change barrel system. Being able to just toss in a new barrel in under a few minutes, and then change the BCG in a few seconds is awesome!

.223 to 7.62x39 to 300BLK
I think it'll make for a lot of fun.

Would anyone else here spend their $2300 (taxes in) differently ?

Please don't say Norinco with $1500 optics hah.

KAC upper with Cadex lower would be awesome...

are there complete Daniel Defense rifles available? If so that would be a good option.

I have a complete LMT 10.5 and a 16 DD upper on an Aero Precision Lower. Both rifles work flawlessly. You cant go wrong with a LMT or OST fraken gun.

I'd get the MRP personally. I'd take an MRP over just about any other AR15 made. It's an outstanding product.

I would have bought one of those MRPs in a heartbeat if they were that price a few years ago.

But now that I have too many guns, I still am tempted to buy one. Gah

LMT.

LMT has QC control on their Parts and on the Rifle.
LMT has Barrel change option.
LMT sold by Questar....'nuff said

One Shot uses QC'd Parts. Hopefully they all work together.

True but it would get pretty damn expensive having all new uppers. Also it would probably be a lot easier to pack 3 barrels and BCG's than 3 uppers.

To paraphrase a great CGN'r...

...buy both or your d*ck will fall off!

And there you have it, words to live by!!!

WTF?!?!?!

No one, ever, would need to pack 3 of anything, period. In some screwed up universe, if you did have to change calibers, you would have to do it once, not 3 times.

Crap, try carrying 3 "quick" change barrels and BCG's with you and start changing them out!!!

It's retarded to say the least.

Those that do need to do it, don't need to worry about expense. Hense why we have some clients that we do.
