Nope. Lots of post whores rack em up there. They actually subscribe to the introduction forum so they know whenever new threads are generated.
I'd name names, but then I'd get pms I'd have to deal with.
 
Who cares about post count anyway? I guess if your a new member with the intent of spamming it may make you look more legit before you start to hustle your product but if your a regular enthusiast? Why bother?
