I need to take off the welded on flash hider. Anyone going to bring a bench grinder or other suitable tools to 'pursuade' it off?

I'm bringing a drill press, we should be able to drill out the welds if needed.

who needs name tags when you've got a black marker, and a big forehead?

I'm in the hotel right now. Just laying out my gear for the 1 hr drive to the VKHill GC tomorrow AM. Yup, the butterflies are starting. Always a great time!! Well with no vise, it will be hard to re-barrel, but no worries, you can always visit me in Collingwood like many of the Toronto M14 lovers...

Well this was a well spent 7 Hrs, Thanks goes out to Hungry for shoving all that knowledge our way, now where are the Tylonol.... Got a Splitting headache....

Now that Sheila is nice and tight all over, she'll be fun to play with at the ranges...

Thanks to John for the use of the VKHill GC, nice place.

Again it's worth all the torture Hungry puts us true , can't wait to do this again next yrs.

Thanks Hungry (and all attendees) for a GREAT day! I leaned more about my M14s today than I have in all my "book learning" over the last five years since I bought it. I highly recommend this clinic to all current and future M14 owners. I am looking forward to bedding my M14 to my Boyds stock after watching it done today. Very simple once you know how ;-)
