Our first "cooking" class!

Times 2 to this

I am sorry I/we have left such a bitter taste in your mouth.

To be honest, I am not the same person I was and we are not the same company we were 3-4 years ago.

I would welcome the opportunity to meet and see if I cannot resolve any ill will.

Regards,

JR

Classy response. Like a good/responsible business owner would.

Thank you. But its not just business; I've done some stupid things within the shooting community in the past which I am not particularly proud of, but I think I have made some honest efforts to make amends.

As in life, I am simply asking some people for a second chance.

Jamie Oliver for sure and I believe Gordon Ramsay are both proponents of game meats.
Accomplished chefs in their own right, and celebrity characters reaching the masses.
People can scoff all they like, but the truth is unless shooting and hunting are once again widely accepted main stream sports, the community will be reduced to a delayed rearguard action with attrition which only spells doom for our sports and some peoples' way of life.

This is certainly a refreshing approach that challenges the status quo and pushes the boundaries of our ever shrinking cube.

How many people came here for a full-auto barrel melt down ? .. then saw pots and pans ? ....

I think you missed that the "Kitchen Classroom" is located in our 9000 sq foot expansion wing, which also houses our improved classrooms and members lounge.

We did not give up any shooting range facilities or shrink our main offerings to do this. In fact I think the place looks better then it ever has. It is also far more functional and welcoming then ever before.

I have also seen first hand in the UK exactly what Beltfed is referring too: The game meat traditions there have seriously helped "save" what little gun rights they have.

This is why I haven't set foot in your business in 3+ years.

I hear you bro, it's a trap!
Your walking through the store and you say to yourself " I really don't need another rifle"
Then the smell of wild game floats through the air and it's "Man I need to kill some fresh game"
And you walk out of the store with another long box.

If you haven't been to TSE lately, you should stop by, I've seen the changes and the new layout is pretty cool. And in support of the future of our sport, the 'new' store goes a long way to preserving our hobby with more than just 'shooting'. Keep up the good work!

I received my monthly email notification with the information regarding the "appetizers and ammunition" nights. I am really excited for this as it looks like a great idea!

Keep up the good work and the store looks great!

I think the "Ammo and Appys" nights will be a "hit".

Good food and guns, sounds fantastic. Think I'm going to make the drive from BC, to visit my brother in Calgary, just as an excuse to check out your shop, lol. Kudos to you guys, any new ideas that might bring new folks into the shooting sports or reinvigorate others is worth trying. This would be a good class for those with spouses, friends or relatives that aren't into firearms, to see another side of things. BTW keep up the good video reviews, I really enjoy watching them.

It's very cool when you can order food, I often order food myself, but a month ago I got poisoned with the food I ordered. This was my favorite site. After spending three days in the hospital, I decided that I would no longer order food and decided to learn how to cook myself. I liked to order pasta and I decided to go online to find out how to make it, turned out that you need to buy a special car, but I decided that will not buy and request from a neighbor. That night, for the first time in my life, I made pasta. I decided to find out from a neighbor where she bought a device for making pasta. She gave me the number of the guys who gave her this appliance. But I didn't have time to talk on the phone, so she gave me this carbon steel woks I've already looked it over at work and decided that I need this device. Now every Tuesday I cook my own pasta.
