Well me and the wifey went out hunting gophers yesterday and got 5! But here are the highlight kills.
I picked up my first lefty rifle, a rem 700 in .223, at Milarm on Thursday and had to bubba my Archangel stock to fit the rifle. I put a Vortex 6-24 SFP EBR MOA reticle. Loaded up some 50gr Vmax over 22.5gr of N135. Sighted it in at 140 yards (I just dropped the board along the fence and parked the truck on a hill and laser ranged it) and it was time to zap some gophers. My first shot at a gopher with it was at 280 yards and held over about 2.5 moa and bam! direct heart hit! Id also like to mention I had to shoot this right handed lol.
Pic of the rifle (yea we shot from the bed of the truck, ground was wet) and gopher at 280.

The wife forgot her bolt for her browning but I made sure she shot the next one with my gun so she could get one... and boy did she get one!!! We spotted one at about 160 yards and she missed the bugger by a gopher hair. It took off running and dived in to a hole... RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY TARGET BOARD!! I told her she didn't need to hold off for the shot and 3 minutes later he pops his head up.... and lost it.... literally.... she sent that vmax straight to its noggin. At first we couldn't tell because the gopher was flailing around and I thought it wasn't dead and crawled back in to the hole. But upon walking up to it, it was obvious what happened.

Also he first gopher ever! We were driving through the field and she saw this one popping its head up and put on in its eye lol. (shes doesnt like her pic shown lol)

The last highlight was a 60yd shot I made on a some poor gopher that was standing up and down and when I pulled the trigger... the bullet entered the chest as he crouched down and basically exited out his rear. As you can imagine he was disemboweled. He was still alive when we got to him and used the .22 to finish him off. didn't want him to suffer anymore than needed.
Its a gruesome pic so here's the link. (lemme know if it dont work)
