Our first time to the pistol range.

My wife is fine with long guns, but for the time being is quite anti on the handgun thing. First trip to the range will likely begin to change things.

I have no problem with her out shooting me!

That is fantastic. Spending quality time with your wife is the best.

For the amount of time my wife spends at the range she is a remakable shot. She handles my GP 100 6"SS really well considering the size and weight. I recently purchased a CZ 75 Shadow Line and I think she will do even better with that.

For sure, get her out to the range, she'll probably out shoot you, (mine does) But when she feels on top it's a lot easier to make her understand when you want to blow two grand on a new gun!

ya good point. though have to admit, I don't think she has any idea that i have more than 2, and i'm more of a "ask forgiveness than ask permission" kind of guy! but all is fair as she is the same with shoes and handbags.

Did I read that correctly, your first time ever shooting a pistol? The target says 25 yards. That is amazing shooting, wish I could score like that.

I was just pointing at the paper and hoped I would hit, I wasn't trying for accuracy at all. I'm surprised myself as well lol! Probably won't do near as well next time. My wife says I should get a 22lr like hers to start with and I just can't say no. So after work I'm off to buy a GSG 1911.

That's pretty fair shooting for the first time out + 25m + a shotgun next door!

I remember my first time out with a pistol - I too started at 25m, that distance quickly got shortened to 7m! (to reaffirm my belief in God ...)
