Shot can't reach the lagoon, just the access road. It would have to leech uphill, and then through the berms.

The word came down, we are now shut down until the work is complete, around late August/early September.

I spoke with the head guy on the lagoon work, and they are behind schedule, so we are not expecting to be up and running until at least the end of September.

Well that sucks but if your only getting shut down now until the end of September than at least you've had 2 or 3 nice months which beats being down for the entire summer!

We were shut down mid June, with an expected completion date of late August, so we will lose at least 14 weeks, instead of 10.

It's sad, but, I don't believe there's too many insurance claims jobs that will end sooner than later...not while the money is comin in for them !

Originally from the end of August and now some time in December, it's hard to believe someone could misjudge the job by 4 months. I suspect that Kevin G hit the nail on the head.

Originally August, then October, now December, the original foreman is no longer even on the job, I spoke with the person that is now in charge. Apparently they filtered the water, and have been digging out the mud, but they are still seeing contamination, even though they have dug out more than originally planned.

As of today, the contractors are packing up to leave the site, so we can resume operations as of the weekend. Unfortunately the weather will be too cold Sunday, but it is warming up Monday, so I will clear snow, and reset the machines. Hopefully, we will be shooting again very soon.

It was 0 with the wind at 15km, the roads weren't great after rain last night, but we had 6 shooters out today. It was nice to be back shooting.

It was definitely a treat to shoot again. Hopefully we don't lose many days this winter due to cold weather.
