This is my 14-yr-old grandson Matthew. He has his trapper's lic and regularly assists his dad skinning out their fir. He also has completed his hunting and firearms safety courses and has his hunting lic. He's too young to hunt alone but as part of the apprentice program he has been deer hunting with us the last couple of years. His Dad bought him a Ruger Deerfield .44mag when he was one-year-old. He is yet to get his first deer. His younger brother by one year, Mitchell, is equally as enthusiastic & also has his trapper's lic and hunting lic. One of my pleasures in life at this point is being out in the woods in the fall with these boys.

On a side note, Post makes excellent work grade knives as well as finer quality knives. My grandfather swears by his knives for his trapping and skinning work.
