I just bought myself a Honda Fourtrax. I've never owned one before so I was pretty excited to go drive all the trails around South Porcupine. I got up early on Sunday and drove to a pit where I sometimes find spent shell casings. I always pick up shell casings at every pit I go to. After checking all the usual spots without success, I spotted a target at the back of the pit. I drove my bike back there and found 10 .30-30 shells in a pile and 11 .45-70 casings in a pile. I was pretty excited. I've never found .45-70 casings in any pit. My Dad shoots one but I don't presently have one. I've been staring at those casings all week sitting neatly in a row on my reloading table. I'm starting to get the itch for a Marlin 1895. I think I'll get the one with the 22" barrel though.
