Welcome to Canada, I know a guy who's wife left the Cap for similar reasons, less the shooting incident. Hope you like it here.

Just talked to a gent in Capetown the other day. All South Africans now limited to one rifle, one shotgun and one handgun.

And when those are gone, the prudent will have their visas and tickets ready.
