You are not missing anything. The former would be completely illegal in Canada for non-law inforcement, the later is legal.

yes you do want one lol, mine got fed a few hundred rounds yesterday for funsies as my daughters say, love that gun, my oldest just tried it for the first time yesterday aswell, shoulda seen the smile on her face!!, i think everyone needs one, or 3 of these!.lol

Mine has fired the Russian stuff from TradeEx and the Norinco from CanAm. Not a single light strike in around 600 rounds of the Milsurp. The Norinco has been perfect as well.
