Out of these Reddots, which one?

Romeo 5 is my vote,

Holosun has come a long way, and would also be a good choice. But I prefer the asthetics of the romeo5

You can't really go wrong with any of the options there.

Romeo5 is often on sale at cabelas for $179.99. Holosun is the oem producer for the Romeo5. Lots of good features for the price paid. Shake n wake!

Wild Wednesday at cabelas has the trs on sale today for $179.

They also have this primary arms unit on sale.

I’m only familiar with the Holosuns, I had a 403B (sold it when I upgraded to a 515GM), their warranty is good, so I’d go Holosun

The application matters too. As a secondary on a more capable optic the Amazon cheapy works. Primary on boomer hunting rifle is a different deal.

I own about 15 of those combined.

Nothing wrong with any of them, the TRS is a great value when you can snag one for 99$. If not, at 150$ reg price, it's not worth it and a Romeo 5 on sale at 179$ is much better value.

Holosun and Sig are both excellent. I will also include the primary arms one as well. I have one of each and have had them for several years with no issues at all. Grab whatever one you can during a sale.

If it’s for fun then budget is king I guess. Having used red dots on slug guns, 22’s, and tried someone else’s AR red dot combo, I’m underwhelmed by the results over 50 yds. I would much rather have an LVPO, considering that a 223 is quite capable to several hundred yards. Maybe don’t spend too much on the red dot in case you end up thinking the same as I have.
