Outer's Foaming Bore Cleaner in M14

Does anyone use Outer's Foaming Bore Cleaner in their M14? I've used it a few times and it seems to work pretty good. I just lay the gun upside down to keep the foam from getting into the gas system.

Will this stuff muck up the gas system?

I tried it in my Garands, completely disassembled, and the foam shot out of the gas port.

I shoot norinco ammo out of my m14. Usually 100-150 rounds each range session.

This stuff is amazing. I can clean my gun in the living room without the wife complaining about chemical smells. I let it sit in the barrel in between commercials. A few patches pulled through to get the initial gunk until no more blue and then a couple boresnakes later... voila shiny bore. Almost too good to be true.

Just put a piece of tape over the gas port. That's how I use the Outers Foul Out II in my Garand and M14.

Done deal.
