outfitter conversation continued

Not at all self professed lazy butt wad but rather because when off continent hunts can compete with their price I think that generally means they gotta get their head out their arse

FYI "Real Men" know what a Lazy Ike is. But back on your topic..

The fact that you try and compare a(current) N. American hunt to an (Old)African hunt once again confirms you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

At least that what I think you are trying to do? Perhaps you are ESL and if so, why not post in your native tounge so that we can figure out what you are actually saying.

Here we go again...

Never try to teach a pig to whistle. (or spell, or use proper grammar etc).

It's a waste of your time, plus it annoys the pig.

Use the right knife and a pig will whistle just fine.. But agreed he will be annoyed... better just to bleed him then to make him whistle...

How about the other old proverb,--

You can lead a horse to drink,
But you can't make him water!

(Or something like that.)

how the heck does some guys double rifle story prove to us canadian outfitters need lower prices?

you sir are a lost cause.

Apparently couldnt read past line 5. Heres how

"One does not have to search hard to find a ten day hunt including trophy fees for six species of plains game for under $5000"

Whats a single species elk hunt?

What country are you planning on hunting ELK in? What are the success rates, terrain, material, licencing and labour cost associated with the hunt and how do they compare to this Mythical $5000 African hunt?

If you don't know the answer stfu and do your home work.

Being someone about to go to africa , READ THE FINE PRINT!!!! 5000 US DOLLARS, THEN ADD 2500 $ airfare, then add customary tips , and shipping your trophys back here , and other related costs , the CHEAPEST you will end up with is around 10K for a bush league hunt!!! Now , not being a fan of outfitters for a different reason , I find myself strangely defending said outfitter. I CAN and DO find good north American hunts that compare in amount of species (7 species) for well under 10k , shop around and hopefully you will get a good hunt out of it! You get what you pay for !!! Also add in the currency conversions! canuck to us us to whatever currency of whatever country .

You have convinced yourself that you know better than the outfitters so once again I ask:

Focus on the Elk hunt in N. America and get back to me.

But I don't wanna go to africa, I'd rather pay $50,000 for a North American sheep hunt than sit by a waterhole in a pasture or do drive buys from a jeep shooting goofy lookin fenced animals that look like they fell out of a box of animal crackers. I can do that in Texas.
