Hey,

Anyone know any great outfitters in AB for elk hunting.
Actually anywhere between BC and ONT?

Looking to go with a group of two hunters total.

wondering if anyone has any experience or if anyone knows of any outfitters.

This would really help me begin to plan my trip.

I hunted ten days with Ram Creek Outfitters this past September. They are located between Fernie and Wardner BC. I don't have one complaint. It was a great trip. Oh yeah... I did shoot my Elk.

Do you mind me asking what you paid? Any hidden costs etc?

I'm not financially in the position to do something like this right now, however, someday I definitely want to do this.

The price of the hunt/trip was just under $10,000.00. That included everything... cost of flights, gear and equipment, 11 day truck rental, one night hotel rental, 10 day combo hunt (Elk, Mule Deer, and Wolf), tags, and tips.

I love the trip and the experience so much, I am planning on going back in 2014 for Mule deer.

It is never to early to start to plan and save for a trip like this.
