Hi CGN'ers

I might be in the market for an Outfitters tent. LARGE. Something that will sleep 4-8 guys?

I'm wondering if anyone has any good references as to where to find these, hopefully at a reasonable cost?

Any info would be helpful.

We're looking for something for our annual moose hunting trip.

Cheers,
Fordy

Company out of BC, their tents have internal frames. We are looking at 1 of theirs for this season. I have a few of the Norsemen tent and LOVE them, with an internal aluminum frame from Kwikkamp in Montana. This tent and frame has stood up to some real hard punishment from Mother Nature over the past 7 years, especially in the mountains at our mountain sledding camp.

Fort McPherson tents are made just down the road from here. Nice outfits (staying in one on the barrens) and not bad prices either. I'll be picking one up before I leave the Delta.

I have a Fort Macpherson 14x16 and a Can-Tex insulated 14x16 with the aluminum quick attach frame. We mostly just use the Fort Macpherson (uninsulated) over the Can-Tex frame as the Insulated tent weighs a ton and it never seems to get cold enough here for it. It is very warm and comfortable though. If you had it on a platform you could live in it indefinitely.
