Outlandi$h ammo

Ya CT is always insane with their ammo prices! Even the guys that work there buy somewhere else! Lol
Iv always wondered but I have heard they’re good for price matching a lot of their goods so I wonder has anyone tried that with their ammo? If it works would save a lot in shipping.

Ammo manufacturing companies with their high priced product is the reason they drove me to handload all my ammo...
Haven't purchased ammo other than .22's or 9's in 35 years....

I buy some factory, more often than not for the brass.

My inspiration was the cost of big magnum/large projectile ammo. Anything larger than 30 cal is usually $60+/box for vanilla cheap factory. Even at $1/bullet, i can reload 50 premium handloads my rifle likes for $60.

yup any big magnum is going to cost you.

I have a 458WM, ammo can be found in some of the local shops.

now my 325WSM is another problem, I have only ever seen the tags on the shelf, never seen a box of loaded ammo in the store.

But I have dies and brass for both.

When I was in the Holland and Holland store the manager treated me very well and showed me a 700 HH round. They sold for just over a $100 dollars a round.

What's the most expensive sporting ammo you've seen? I went looking for .500 Jeffery ammo and the only box I could find was $274.99 for ten rounds. $27.50 a round. I'd say that's bordering on unaffordable.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of sticker shock? Let's hear about it.

Same price i paid for my 500 jeffery. Here is the story of it from another post i made.

I ordered a box, told it was 260$ for 20 rounds. After it was ordered in it was knocked down to 245$ a box BUT only a 10 round box. So i was a little upset but i paid for them as the store owner didnt want to soak up the cost, i didnt want to make him either. (His supplier didnt list round count and the 460wm was the same 260 $ and it was a 20 round box so we assumed the jefferys were the same price and count) And i still wanted loaded ammo. So i bought them.
Costly though lol after tax they were 28.30$ each.

Price is seen on the box in the pic and its 15% tax here
