Outlaw... Hardcore One-handedstyle... no old men, no little girls!

Last month I was in a area with lots of grizzlies and lots of sign. As I lay in my teeny one man tent, I was thinking " I bet one of those Outlaw shotguns would be handy if a had a nighttime visitor":)

Although I bet just the hat and gloves woudl scare away any bear...:p

I can heartly recommend the hat and gloves, but I would not stake my life on an Outlaw. Something without external hammers and a slide safety maybe. It was/is surprising how much time it takes to fiddle with the hammers, make sure the safety is off etc. A Dlask barreled pump is what would be my choice, or a quality single trigger SXS.

I wouldn't trust it for a packing around gun either, but load it up and leave the hammers uncocked, saety off, and go to sleep and then when Mr Grizz sniffs the tent, give him both barrels!!:p

Hamers down safty up if its a 2 stage triger dont do that but thats if you want it to be ready to go..Hammer up pull the triger is how I would have it if I wanted it loaded for a night time visiter but with no food around or around camp I dont see a problem with guests..

Well, that thing will stop a grizzly. However, they are "supposed" to be endangered here, you can't shoot them legally unless there is an immenent danger to you and your well being. You will be asked to prove this in Alberta and will need all bullet holes to be in the frontal area of the animal if it is shot as a threat. Otherwise you will be facing some huge fines.

JT.

I always wear them shooting handgun but hardly ever shooting rifle.
Ya I know..but I don't wear shooting glasses at work, like cops don't wear them on the street..
I normally have sun glasses on all the time..

I do the same.. Handguns tend to throw "####"...... But we never used saftey glasses on the range in Debert did we Striker?? :D

I wear sunglasses all the time too... even to bed... Dives the wife crazy.. in a good way..

Think Roy Orbison... :D

Dosing... Nice choice of outfit... LOL Gotta see if I can get some of that for my next outing! How's the waterproof factor on that stuff??

Sunglasses instead of safety glasses is better than no protection at all.

Not wearing ANY glasses, as it appears Striker does not, may be hazardous to your health no matter what you're shooting.

I suspect that SpongeBob outfit would be very "absorbent". :)
