Outlaws

BTW I had an outlaw, you aint missing much.
They're heavy
the barrels are rarely if ever regulated (point in the same direction)
Opening the action after firing is a common problem
and so is extracting the empties.
Get a gunsmith to make you your own from a reliable old double.
Sure it was fun but totally unreliable and not practicable. (chicomcrap)

I'll just leave this here...

Awwww... It's like a maternity ward!
I think I see my girl, third from the left. I should probably try shooting her one day...

Do we have any other manufactures that make anything close to this?

Not that I'm aware of in Canada. Making after market single barrels for shotguns is one thing, especially like the 870 where there's billions of them out there and a high demand. But making an after market double barrel is a whole different kettle of fish.

You would need to get a special order run made of them, and the cost even from something like stoeger would likely be fairly high. It's not a matter of just cutting down the barrels or making them shorter, they have to be regulated for that length.

The next closest shortest shotgun double i'm aware of would be the 18.5 inch barreled maverick. Not really the same class

April is what I heard from Wanstalls in response to my email about the backpacker, I am looking for a lightweight camp/hike carry gun (legally of course). I am kinda bummed to hear people say they're heavy and unregulated.

"We don't have access to those at the moment. I don't believe that they are being produced anymore. We will be getting in some of the norinco grizzly's in an 8 inch barrel.

they would make a good back packer I use it myself."

"hopefully will have the OUTLAW in by late April.."
-From Wanstalls, two different employees. Not sure if I am allowed to post the names.
