Id like to get a good skeet shooter, I like the over under design, but don't have allot of experience with them. i was looking at a nice used Browning Citori today with a 26" barrel for just under $800; seemed like a good deal for a $1500-2000 gun(new) But after looking on the EE I found a Gaucha (?) brand new for $600. Id like to get a nice one for under $1G but would happily spend $600 if it will provide the same level of enjoyment. Any suggestions?

That's not a bad price for the Citori. But I would keep looking. Try to find something with at least 28" barrels. They tend to swing smoother.

Thanks guys, I think Ill stick with the Citori...28" eh, my local haunt has 3 but they're all beat to crap and the lowest price is $850, wheras the 26" looked like it was new; and just under $800...but maybe the 26" is too short? Hmm to bad a second barrel doesn't come with it.

See if you are able to handle that and find out for yourself.....shotguns, regardless of "finesse" have this weird habit of becoming quite attached to individuals if the fit/feel is proper :)

Personally, I have had no issues with 26 and 28 inch tubes....am comfortable with both. Having said that, if one is planning on frequent/serious range use then a longer barrel (minimum 28in) would be a superior option.
