I'm in the market for a .223 and while shopping in the bathroom I started to look at the o/u's 20 GA and .223.

Looks like a super partidge gun but I want one for yotes. Seems to me having a quick follow up shot would be more practical.

Anyone have one of these?:)
 
Had a Savage 24 20ga/.223, long ago. The rifle barrel didn't shoot worth beans. Mind you, I didn't do any load or trigger work either. I found the stock kind of odd too.
 
For yotes and/or gophers my preference would be a.22-250 or .25-06 in a 112BVSS Savage. I do have a Savage OU in .22LR & .410 3" for road Grouse while Moose hunting. I've also recently acquired a Brno OU in 7x57R & 12ga.
