Heh. When I was in Brandon for Nationals, the Ontario bag maker was there ( I forget the company name ).
He had belt keepers with little snaps on them. I bought 12 because I knew I'd occasionally lose them.
I have 4 left. At this rate, I'll be ready to buy another dozen next year.

Not a problem if you reverse the belt to be on the backside or have a beer bug protecting it
update: Belt was 32, waist is a 30--had about 3-4 inches of belt when all was cinched in there. No issues, no problems, everything ran like a dream...the DAA site says you should have 7 in overlap--so I guess it proves what Abe Lincoln once said "Never believe everything you read on the internet."
