Is it just me or used Taurus hanguns seem a bit expensive on the EE? I have seen a couple Tauruses(both in 9mm and .40cal) for around five to six hundred and one a while ago for almost seven hundred; that seems a bit ridiculous since a used Beretta 92FS or 96 goes for just about the same or even less...but this is a Beretta; and if I remeber corectly an Italian Beretta sold for as much as five hundred and something. Is there something here that I am missing?

I don't think $500 is too much for Taurus or $600 if extras are included an the gun is in ex. condition. new Beretta prices came down they used to be $950-1050 now they're $800-950, Taurus prices stayed the same (increased if you consider that SIR who had the best price don't sell them anymore :()

btw I wouldn't sell you my Taurus .44 even for $700... :)

People that own Taurus pistols know that they are hard to part with.

I'd more than likely ask more than what mine is worth, because in all honesty the money is not worth not having it.

BTW - I've heard more than once that the Taurus 92s are made better than the Berettas .....Just what I've heard ;)

Now you're just comparing apples to oranges. You're bringing up the Taurus revolvers (which are very good typically) to the Taurus Beretta knock offs.

Which have been typically sited to being poorer than the original.

Yeah, and I'm sure you'll find someone telling you that Kias are made better than BMWs if you search hard enough...

People in general tend to over value their firearms. Those that do, usually find they don't sell.
I've even seen people trying to sell their Norc's for more money then Marstar sells them for! Helllllo, wake up folks.

I paid $350 for my pt99 complete with 2 factory mags over 10 years ago. I've never had a problem with it except for the rear sight roll pin issue. I love shooting it and if it blew up tomorrow, I would consider it money well spent.

I've shot a Taurus PT92; it's good gun just fit and finish not as good as on 92FS.
