Oversized charging handle for the SR (pics)

From the first pic you can see the original charging handle for the SR.. Is tiny and weak.

I ordered it from Cabel@'s online. It is originally for a stock Ruger 10/22. Because the SR has a flat top rail on it that bolts on clearance was a bit of an issue.


That leads me to the next pic when I had to notch out the top inside of the handle with my trust jewelers file.. Took a little bit but came out precise.

The last pic shows the final result.. It feels as good as it looks

This is "Ruger 10/22 Bolt Handle - Blued Matte by Superior Concepts"

.. I first installed it, marked out where it was touching (with the flat top rail resting in place).. and went to town with a tiny file
