Ar 'pistols' in the U.S. With a pistol buffer or arm brace.

Are there obstacles with importing them into Canada?

Would it not just be another 7.5 AR that I could swap out the buffer on and slap a stock on it?

Or is it a paperwork nightmare, and a bad idea?

Can those in-the-know shed some light?

I thought I'd post here instead of clogging up a vendor forum

Thanks in advance

Are there obstacles with importing them into Canada? Not anymore than any other restricted import

Or is it a paperwork nightmare, and a bad idea? Use irunguns orprophet river

You are over thinking it.

It is just another restricted, no matter what you do it short of chopping the barrel further it will still remained as a restricted.

Ok

Figured I was overthinking it

Just got hung up that they aren't registered as rifles without the stock down there

Didn't know if that created headaches bringing it in through gunbroker/irun

Thank you both!
