I have read through most of the threads regarding this shotgun.

This is for those that have actually shot one or own one.

If you like it, why? what pros? How does it stack up against what you have used for birds in the past?

If you didn't like it, the same please.

I have used 870, 1187 but have had my eye on one of these for a bit.

I do not want moronic posts about just saying it's a piece of crap, give a reason you think that, if you havn't shot one or don't own one, then your opinion isn't really valid anyhow, justify it!! Not trying to be a pompus ass, but really, so many guys just say it's s**t because they would never own one. So...if you do, I would love to hear what you like or dislike about them.

Yeah, I read that one, seems favorable as do many. Most of the negative stuff is on boards, but I was curious as to reliable feedback, i.e. CGN who have used one or own one. So many will jump on it calling it a POS just becasue they own what is in their perception a better pump gun, seemingly in their world, they own the best and nothing can compare, hence the request for owners feedback. Most of the folks that have shot it or own one seem to have favorable comments on it.

Is that your personal experience or something you dug up?

Not my experience- I don't have one.
Just though you should see the bad experiences in that post.

I use a FN Browning O/U made the year I was born.
Good luck.

BTW: Most of those "reviews" are close to being paid advertising.
Rarely heard of problems in them.
you're doing the right thing by checking into peoples real views

Well thanks to reviews from two CGN'rs who actually own and shoot these, (BIGREDD adn tms) both of whom's opinions I respect and took into considereation, they convinced me that for the $ it really is a no-brainer. I picked on up today, now to shoot a little trap in prep for duck season....
