Mountain Arms, Inc. was listed from 1975 through 1979 when they de-listed. According to BATF records there were only 6,243 Mountain Arms Wildcats made in the 4 years they were produced. The takedown wireframe model shown is only one type of the total run, others had wood or plastic stocks, or were non-takedown variants. They were sold at Woolworths (Woolco) 1975-1978 for $29.95.
Harold Rau originated the Rau "Wildcat 500" in El Dorado, KS and later sold out to Ozark Mountain Arms. Some they produced were marked Ozark Mtn. Arms, and rest marked Precision Industries.
