P-14 Enfield Front Sight Dim.

Anyone know the I.D. of the front sight on the P-14? I'm going to Google it, but I'm finding too much BS these days, so I would be thankful if someone would be able to confirm whatever I'm about to find...

Just ran downstairs and checked, .06 on the calipers. i think there are many different options though, its my understanding that armorers would swap front sights to accommodate soldier preference. .06 is nice for me, not to big.

Thanks, but I meant the inside diameter of the sight assembly. I have a Sporter that I'm going to trim down the barrel a little. I'll be replacing the sight ramp, but I got looking at the original sight and to be honest that's pretty much what I want. If I can convince a friend to do it for me on his lathe it should be simple to turn down the barrel a little to be able to fit an original front sight.

On my rifle:

The barrel diameter immediately in front of the sight assembly is .601"
The barrel diameter immediately behind the sight assembly is .610"
The length of the sight assembly is .890"
