P-14 value

I picked up a P14 that appears to be unaltered other than the forestock shortened.
Bluing is really good and the bore looks good.
May put it up for sale, any ideas as to the value?

I will try, my wife usually does the picture stuff. There is one in the Exchange section that looks just like mine, it sold so don't know the price.

I bought full wood, minus volley sights for 400.

Two fifty to $300 sounds a little optomistic for a sported P14. I purchased a really nice Win P14 at a gun show last fall for $125.00, which I considered to be a bit of a bargain. All matching VG condition with cut down stock. There was a choice of 2 or 3 others priced between $150.00 and $200.00. I would think a price of $150.00 to $225.00 to be reasonable for one complete and in good condition with a cut down stock

I checked the numbers, bolt, barrel and receiver all numbers match. I assume RP means it's a Remington.
