P&D had my 4831 and some primers I needed!!!

wow 25,000 primers...... here that translates to about $1300.00.... on primers!

My local g-store is selling primers (when they have them) for $44.00 to $65.00 per 1000

I personally am down to my last 2000, not that I can use them..... I'm all out of powder! lol!!

The store I usually buy from has powder & primers on back order, when they get some I'll get some, untill then I have to ration my last 1600 rnds......

I bought my dad a bunch of powder, primers a few years ago to try and get him back into reloading, shooting, etc.Hopefully he remembers where he put it,in case I run low!

Reminds me that I need to stock up on powder and more primers. I like to have at least one unopened box of 1000 or each type of primer sitting in reserve.

Going to need more small pistol and small rifle. I'll pick some up next time I buy powder.

!!!! $28 per 1000 for spp!!!!! man I wish!!!!!!! where! where! where!....... Do they ship????

All of the stores around here are sold out and @ $28 compared to $49.95 per 1000 for spp I will pay shipping gladly...... heck I'll take a case!

Holy CRAP!

If I bought 25,000 Winchester primers from Le Baron here in Toronto, it would cost $861.25 plus tax.

25,000 CCI primers would be around $600 plus tax.

I meant the manufactures. Do you actually think that the prices will come down once the hysteria is over, not bloody likely. I think prices are here to stay.

they came back down to 25/ 1000 from 35/1000 last time everyone got excited that there weren't any :)

Check the Le Baron site (lebaron . ca)

Click on english, then click the "In Progress" under the Fall Supplament. Then under hunting, scroll down to Components.

Because they are in the process of updating, right now only the Winchester stuff is listed.

Just looking at last Fall's catalogue, it says powder CAN'T be shipped, but it doesn't say anything about primers.

You got me beat on powder... but with the 25k more primers I bought yesterday I got ya beat! :)

Somethings I just don't get? do people that have 25-30k in primers also have enough powder on hand to make use of all those primers? Bullets and brass as well?
I can understand one us prairie boys that get out and shoot a pile of vermin every summer having several thousand rounds of rimfire on hand, but how many guys shoot several thousand rounds of centerfire? FS

I bought the extra primers because I know there is no shortage on powder. I have 5-6 pounds of various powder for pistol, 2-3 pounds for rifle as all I really shoot is my 270 for hunting and about 10 pounds of powder for shotgun. I picked up 4 pounds of Alliant Red Dot for $17 a pound on Sunday as well.

I buy my stuff from a fellow named John Emmett who used to have a nice little shotgun club called the St. Catharines Gun Club but was shutdown by the government when they decided they wanted to build houses on his range.

I am not too sure if he ships, but if you google enough you might be able to find his number. He has about a half a million primers left, mostly rifle, large at that. No large pistol left except for Federal and maybe 20-30 thousand small pistol.

Every pound of Alliant powder I have bought from him has been $17 for the last couple of years and he's still selling it for that.

Anyhow... for all the people that have PM'd me not believing the prices I get, there's my contact, call him yourself. I've got all I need for a few years now.
