I am hard pressed to find enough good things to say about these guy's. Just received a Sig from them and am very pleased. It took a little while, no fault of their's due to sigarms in NH, but am impressed. Prompt service, very nice to talk to over the phone and eager to do whatever it takes to provide you with what your looking for. For anyone out there looking to purchase, I'm not suggesting you go there, I'M TELLING YOU TO SHOP THERE!!!!!! Great selection. The owners know how to run a business, customer service, plain and simple. Thanks Again. This won't be the last purchase. Doh, on that note gotta go the wife just got in.

I bought a pistol from them a while ago, and as it arrived I developed a medical problem in my hand which precluded me from being able to use it.

Although it cost me a few extra bucks, they went out of their way to help resolve my problem, which was nice as they didn't really have to do it.

I would buy there again.

Best customer service of any gun-shop in Canada that I've been to. Period.:) I generally try not to go there too much, as my wallet takes too much of a beating. (My fault, not P& D's.)

In my opinion, P&D have established a "benchmark" by which all other gunshops get compared. A lot of them don't come out to favorably either. ;)

P&D is a very well run, customer oriented business.

Well stated. :) I just hope they don't sell the business, in the near future.

I have to agree, and it's important to support the 'good guys'. While it's obvious that they cannot always compete with The Big Store on price (and make enough to keep their doors open), they come close enough to satisfy me. And I AM willing to pay a reasonable premium for the kind of service they provide.
I always look forward to shopping there, and leave feeling that I've had a pleasant experience whether I buy anything that day or not. And for a grouchy old bastard like me, that's saying a lot.

I've had good service there too. Some of their guns are priced higher than the competition. Not a knock against P&D, but when quality dealers like TSE and Wolverine sell it for less, I think they may lose a few sales. Having said that, their range of stock is outstanding. When you walk into the store it is literally filled with guns. Its a much more fun place to shop in person than some of the other dealers, where there just isn't much to look at. Overall, one of the best dealers out there.

I'll add a quick kudos too.

Bought my Pintail there early in the year, and spoke to them on a couple of other firearms since.

Always a pleasure.

Best gun store maybe anywhere, I've yet to find one better--and that includes plenty of big name stores in LA, Vegas, New York...

I feel very lucky to live nearby!

Bought my Sig P226R there... loved the entire process. Whenever some funds come up for a project (after tax time...) I always shop there first....

I'm willing to spend the extra couple of bucks to buy there. Cheaper than buying local wrt provincial sales tax, best phone service I've ever had, have a great stock and willing to bring anything in, and somehow they work some CFC magic and can ship a handgun that day/next day.

P & D are great. I bought my XD from them a while back. Excellent people to deal with. Professional, prompt and priced right. It arrived quickly and as advertised. I would deal with them again. - D

Well, i'm really glad to hear all this and i know where my next gun will be purchased.
My last purchase was a nightmare with warranty service, and the gun shop was NO help at all....

Love P & D. Dianne is awesome. And the staff knows what they're talking about. I found very little, if any, attitude there. Unlike some other stores in Edmonton. Not to mention Milarm (well used to be anyways). Just because I'm a bit younger doesn't mean I don't know as much. And because I don't know the exact proper name for a certain part on a gun I was unfamiliar with, I don't have to feel like a total toddler being talked down to. (bitter...maybe).
But yeah, go P&D.
I brought in an ol Moss 500Ab that was having some feeding issues, (I think beause of a bent catridge stop and interrupter assembly), and they couldn't fix it. Even after Phil had the EPS armourer and a couple other shotty guys look at it too. So because they couldn't fix, it was free of charge. He even through on my synth stock /w pistol grip and forend on for free!
