There is another place that sells them as well. P&S Guns and Militaria. They're out of Quebec. Their stuff is usually pretty good.
The No4 MkII rifles made by POF on as mentioned Maltby equipment are as good as any Canadian or British made No4s. I should be getting some flak over that soon.
I have a couple of them. One has a .310 bore and one has a .309 bore. Not really sure why, except POF also produces their own version of the AK47 and that would be the same nominal bore diameter it uses. Just simpler I guess.
Many of the POF rifles that first came in were like new. Both of mine are, not even a storage ding. The stocks are made of heavy, dense Circassian, straight grain, dark Walnut.
The mags on my rifles function/feed flawlessly. The bolts are as smooth as any Lee Enfield's.
Both of my rifles shoot the .311 diameter bullets better than the .312 and for obvious reasons. They will also shoot the .310/125grn offerings for the SKS quite well.
You can't really go wrong with the POF No4 MkII rifles. They are a bit heavier than most of their counterparts but that's about it.
Treat it properly, clean it up and be sure to put all of the parts back where they came from and all will be well.
