P12 Failure to feed last round? FIXED!

This gun worked 100% with remington ball .230 gr ammo. I've replaced the mag springs with Wolff springs, replaced the plastic mag release with a steel one and put a new 22lb recoil spring in it.
I was using BEB flatnose winchester ammo. The last round in EVERY mag would be pushed 1/4" but wouldn't feed.

IMO 22lb sounds like to much for a recoil spring on Paras.
I use a 18lb on all my 1911 and I had no problems at all (no FTL or FTE)
check also your new mag follower....

It turns out the new steel mag release I put in held the mag up too high, causing it to engage the slide catch before the last round was chambered. Put the old one back in and 100% function.
So in the end, if it isn't broken, leave it alone!
