Love the gun.
I just wish it wasn't being made in the U.S. Given the current administration the odds are pretty high it will be designated as a 'Destructive Device'. If that happens the chances of consumer export licenses are nil.:(

Want? Yes

Afford? likely not

The only thing that shouldn't like this thing are lieberals and zombies.

Hopefully it will come in a little cheaper then the Neostead... and have plenty of spare magazines!

Licensing fees arent cheap

Forward stroke receiverless design - Truvelo patent
Mag design - Fabrique Nationale patent

If MagPul hasn't secured licensing yet then costs will rise dramatically.

Add cost of design, development, manufacture and a decent markup.
It will probably be in the same ballpark.

The changable mags are beneficial but how many of those will you want to hang off of your belt?

I thought the point was not needing to reload. I would get another two or three mags just in case it breaks down, but I don't think I'd lug more than 1 loaded spare mag... Unless we're talking zombies, of course.

I wonder how many rounds you would fire before that clear plastc is scratched beyond being able to see through it. I imagine it would look like crap after a few outings.
If it came apart to polish it'd be easily maintained though but i doubt it does.

I'd love to have a gun that fed that way just for the "unique" factor.

It's still just a prototype.
