well I have collected most of the parts now for this build. I have a .243 barrel that's pretty much a bull barrel and a milsurp sporter stock as well as a complete barreled action with a good .303 barrel.

im thinking I need to have the barrel profiled a bit its a little heavy because it will end up too barrel heavy and would not point real well from the shoulder.

also wondering if I should just look for another action and just have epps chamber this in one in .303 epps since the bore has lot of rifling and no rust.

there wasn't enough material in the for end on the p14 stock for me to inlet the heavy barrel.

so I went through a parts box and found a bubba Lee Enfield for end that was junk around the action but has enough meat if I were to graft it onto the p14 stock I can inlet the heavy barrel. its a lighter colored wood but I think it will turn out nice maybe with an ebony for end tip.
