P14 action

I have a ERA p14 receiver no barrel or stock, but it's complete with bolt, trigger,magazine and floor plate. Floor plate and trigger guard have been DP marked. The receiver is uncut, should i leave it alone or build a sporter off of it ?. That was the original plan or is there any historic value ?

Id build a 45-70 on it if it was mine. With out the barrel and all the other parts its not worth much to a collector. Its perfect for a build though.

You can leave it alone and still build a sporter on it. Just dont mod the receiver and any parts you do change, keep the old ones.

p14 receivers are prime candidates for custom builds. As collector, no value there
