P14/ M17 stock set?

Hi all
I have seen quite a few sporterized P14 rifles at gunshows lately that are in good condition apart from the cut down stocks. Excellent rifling, intact barrel and front sights, and best of all, they go for around $100. I would love to make one of these my next restoration project, but I am wondering if there is any full stock sets and other components (handguard bands, etc) availiable to even attempt such a project. Does anyone know of any sources?

Numrich, in the States, has M-1917 Enfield stocks, brand-new. These are ALMOST right.
God alone knows how we would get them into Canada.

Yes them pieces of wood are downright dangerous.

A synthetic stock kit would be nice...If it existed, but I doubt it so mine is stuck in it's old cut down wood.

Those new wooden stocks can be shipped to Canada, as far as I know. They just have to be under whatever price has been set for allowable export.

With Numrich, if I recall, you get a $500 limit; and you are charged a $25 "export fee", but you can buy from them.

Limit for Numrich is now only $200.00, but at least they will still ship to Canada.

Awesome! So, they've only got P17 wood? Is it that red and white painted dp stuff? What's the consensus about jamming a p14 action into p17 wood?

I would love to know what stock sets you all are talking about? There are no stock sets on Numirch's web site for a P-17 or a P-14??

Sarco has complete stock sets (and parts) listed on thier site.
They will ship to Kanada but I don't know what limit they are working on.

If someone is ordering from them, I wouldn't mind piggybacking with your order - I need a stacking swivel and screw for an M1917.
