P14 stock replacment

The one thats on my P14 now has already been sporterized but its cracked.
The rest is original .
Boyle,s gun stocks offers a P17 stock.
Will it fit the P14 action & barrel ?.
Alterations minor or major?.

But I wonder, could yours simply be repaired? Or a used spare found (I probably have one or two)

I could live with it like it is .
It shoots fine .
Just want to make it look better and I like the motecarlo cheek piece.

lou, you have p14/p17 stock spares? if you have a one with a cracked but or such, but intact forearm...

I wish I had some full-length spares, but alas only sporterized spares here (from previous retrofitted rifles)

yeah , a full length spare stock would likely already have a new sporter waiting for it. Had to ask.

Be careful - a lot of the sporter stocks were made to accept a triggerguard that has been flattened. This was a common mod done on these sporters years ago.

About 8 years ago I tried to find a full length P14 stock.

I ended up needing to get it from the exotic foreign land of Mooloolaba, Australia (Thanks, Lewis!).

They seem pretty scarce.

They show up on ebay for insane prices and gunbroker seems to have then quite regular...they aren't cheap though
