P226 Confusion - Help Please !

Hello all,

I am in a bit of confusion when it comes to the P226's place of manufacture and quality: is the german better or is the american?
I'm looking to get, in the next year, a .40S&W P226R in all stainless to deal with the recoil (can have a coating like nitron) and with night sights.
What I want is a german frame (there is something about euro made tools that drives me nuts).
So what is out there?
The Equinox is abit out of reach, but I might save up enough...

I got a 226R .40 cal, Stainless Slide with nitron finish(alum frame), And I found the recoil to be mild, Less then my friends Glock 17 9mm. I yet to shoot it with the Light mounted, so should be even better.
 
Do you plan on buying new or used? If you plan on buying new, you will only find the US made ones for sale in North America. As far as any significant differences, you should maybe do a search at www.sigforum.com. I'm pretty sure you will find a ton of information and debate on the subject.
