P226 Custom work?

If I currently owned a P226 in 9mm, is it possible to have Sig (or you fine folks) do some custom work on it to make it look like a P226 Equinox? I strongly desire such a firearm, and it baffles me to no end why it doesn't exist.

You could buy an Equinox and just switch the barrel and the spring, with your 9mm. Lol

Just get an original Equinox in .40 and then a "9mm SIG SAUER Caliber X-Change Kit for the P226", and polish the sides of the kit slide to get a "two-tone finish" - Boom, you've got yourself an Equinox in 9mm. If that's too ghetto and cheap for you or you're concerned with leaving the polished metal exposed - get it Cerakote'd with their clear coat.
