I want to have feedback in regard of the Hogue grips for the Sig P226 pistol. I have heard that thoses are slightly slimmer and provide a better grip than the original one. i have a recent model so my grip is not the checkered one. I find them a little fat for my hand and i feel that they provide less grip than the rubber one. Anyone can provide their opinion for a good set of grip for this gun.

Thanks

I have tried both the finger groove and non-finger grove Hogue grips and both are fatter then factory. Note that I also have some issues with mag seating as the very base of the hogue grips sticks down a bit too far.

Are you talking about Hogue re-checkered factory grips? Do they even make them still? If you're referring to Hogue rubber grips, they are thicker than the factory plastics.
